ABOUT
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the ECE Department at the University of California San Diego, working in ARCLab with Prof. Michael Yip. I completed my Ph.D. in BioRobotics Lab at the University of Washington in 2021, advised by Prof. Blake Hannaford. I earned my M.S. at Vanderbilt University in 2017, working with Prof. Robert J. Webster III, and I obtained my B.E. from Xiamen University.
My research interests are in robotic perception, motion planning, control, and manipulation, with the overarching goal of intelligent healthcare and autonomous surgery.

📢 10/2023: My research was reported in the October 2023 issue of Computer Vision News.
📢 10/2023: I received the Pioneers of Medical Robotics Award and presented on Data vs. Model in Medical Robotics @ IROS 2023.
📃 09/2023: We submitted six papers to ICRA 2024. Check more details: SuPerPM for tracking large deformations, BAA-NGP and BASED for bundle-adjusting NeRF, Robot Pose Tracking for snake-like robots, Real2Sim Deformable Object Manipulation, and AnyOKP for one-shot keypoint extraction.
📃 09/2023: One paper was accepted by IPPC Workshop @ IROS 2023.
📃 01/2023: Our Semantic-SuPer paper for endoscopic tissue tracking and reconstruction was accepted by ICRA 2023.
📃 05/2022: Our ORRN paper for 4DCT registration was accepted by IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering.
